The fields of safety and health are interrelated. There are numerous circumstances in which a certified safety professional can be involved with the recognition, evaluation, and control of those environmental factors associated with workplace safety that lead to impared health or well-being. In addition, the application of deductive forensic techniques allows certified safety professionals to address those programmatic and/or safety/health-related hazard exposures.
